Welcome to Browside bed and breakfast!

Browside B&B is set at the foot of Coniston Old Man, in beautiful gardens with wonderful Lakeland views overlooking Coniston Water towards Grizedale Forest and the Ambleside fells.

We have ample parking for our guests and safe storage for cycles, as well as a drying room "just in case!". With Coniston village situated only 1.5 miles and Torver a mere half a mile away, you will find there is no need even to use your car as all amenities, including great pubs serving fantastic food are all within walking distance.

Allan and I were born and bred here in the Lake District, our families live and work locally to Coniston. We feel very fortunate to have been able to raise our children in such beautiful Lake District surroundings. Allan being a builder by trade, has renovated and extended our home to provide smart comfortable accommodation for 6 guests in 3 en-suite rooms.
